Rehabilitation

Did you know that without effective rehabilitation, the effects of an accident or injury could be with you for the rest of your life?

Rehabilitation has very clear goals - not only does it help you recover from the immediate effects of an injury, it also aims to keep you improving until the strength and range of motion in the damaged area are equal to or better than before.

Rehabilitation is important whether you have suffered an injury, had an accident, or are recovering from surgery. Just take a look at the range of areas we cover:
  • Defensive patterns of the body
  • Low back exercise
  • Flexibility and stretching
  • Pilates
  • PNF Training
  • Recovering from work place injuries
  • Back pain and hip extension
  • Posture and body balance
  • Pool Recovery Session
  • Hamstring injuries
  • Lumbar Disc exercises
  • Single-leg recovery work
However, if you ignore this process, a typical pattern is set in place. What happens with most people is that they suffer an injury, rest it for a short while, then return to action with no further treatment. The result? Scar tissue can build up which restricts the movement in the area, resulting in greater chance of further injury.

So check out our list of articles, and be sure that next time you suffer an injury, you do everything you can to make the afflicted area even stronger than before.
